Want to make a difference at work? Make an impact? Get a cup of coffee and walk up and down aisles or to each office, and just say “Good Morning!”. If there name is outside the office or cubicle, use it!
Every morning I walk through the entire office and say Good Morning to IT, Quality and Performance Improvement, Credentialing, and HR staff. After about 3 months, I knew everyone of them by name, and they knew me.
I often hear when someone is going to leave that they may need to call me when they need someone to get them started up for the day.
All I did was said Good Morning, can’t be much easier.
